Scott and Erin's Incredible Wedding at The Sutherland!

This wedding was definitely a family affair and I felt as if I was a family member! Erin is the third daughter in her family that I have officiated the wedding of. First was <a href="http://raleighweddingblog.blogspot.com/search?q=Megan+and+Ben" target="_blank">Megan who married Ben</a> on October 30, 2010 at The Cotton Room. Then on September 14, 2012, I officiate the<a href="http://raleighweddingblog.blogspot.com/search?q=Kate+and+Phil" target="_blank"> wedding of Kate and Phil </a>at The Pavilions at Angus Barn. I was delighted when Erin and Scott contacted me to officiate their wedding ceremony set for June 6, 2014 at <a href="http://thesutherland.com/" target="_blank">The Sutherland</a>!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRmeiyawu-CAeVdvlLBKUeGjvGAON2spkhs-PQ_zFaTJeYal-VKYyIS_79j1NEy8hLUbSCkL3laMG-ubRGQMJtN5NxSHBeJyCvtVZx_0C9zRT0QnI4AXbGOl5EhtC9MAYCNiWYJsPM1cE/s1600/DSCN9023.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRmeiyawu-CAeVdvlLBKUeGjvGAON2spkhs-PQ_zFaTJeYal-VKYyIS_79j1NEy8hLUbSCkL3laMG-ubRGQMJtN5NxSHBeJyCvtVZx_0C9zRT0QnI4AXbGOl5EhtC9MAYCNiWYJsPM1cE/s1600/DSCN9023.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>As a result of planning for three weddings, Diane, mother of the bride, and David, father of the bride, are experienced in all aspects of making a wedding happen! With the onset of Pinterest, Diane was really able to get creative with all the wonderful wedding decor ideas. Scott knew right away that Erin was the one. It was not much later that Erin felt the same way. Their romance withstood the typical college bumps and trials and really started to move forward when they relocated to North Carolina to be near Erin's family. Scott proposed at the Raleigh Rose Garden on June 22, 2013 and Erin barely let him finish the question before saying YES! It had been 7 long years. She and her mother and sisters began planning for this wedding and really did an amazing job! As I told David, he and Diane could hire themselves out as wedding planners and decorators!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIvgOFoaEccNsXDzo_pISfeUv_TKXQ9Qu4xe15-sdvdipPHGoXycu-ADh2scATSxOX1z0ht8M5qjNB-s9hdXJKgm3AbSP-m2LwIh3oSBFkgDkRjzl2Mrsut8DVrVKJdP3Ef-7HVrJDTAo/s1600/DSCN9093.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; Ashlee and Jay's Beautiful Wedding at Highgrove!

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I met Ashlee and Jay last August to plan their wedding ceremony for their wedding on April 12, 2014 at <a href="http://www.highgrove-nc.com/" target="_blank">Highgrove Estates</a> in Fuquay-Varina. Ashlee's last name was familiar to me because my first cousin married a man with that name and they lived in New York like Ashlee and her family. Turns out we may be distantly related by marriage and several times removed and all that! Such a small world!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVi9bMDKcFcLwMroALYRuome4mLrEfHdqr7yNUHFO0WC9REwaq0yi6Q2A0QOg3pMQJGTs52HyelhbW24I311Ukp-lXWwJNuUoZ-77waIDXlTJrzmksM73H0fznzNIV66ggYjmV-AIFhzA/s1600/DSCN7278.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiVi9bMDKcFcLwMroALYRuome4mLrEfHdqr7yNUHFO0WC9REwaq0yi6Q2A0QOg3pMQJGTs52HyelhbW24I311Ukp-lXWwJNuUoZ-77waIDXlTJrzmksM73H0fznzNIV66ggYjmV-AIFhzA/s1600/DSCN7278.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>They both grew up in New York although Jay's parents have since relocated to North Carolina and Jay and Ashlee moved here in 2010. So they chose the lovely <a href="http://www.highgrove-nc.com/" target="_blank">Highgrove Estates</a> for their wedding venue.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidzctszVaQ5V0AwJqNI-Ibi3f7_nDFNqWjyPW_0xNN8NLhQU9d14Aru7YDAAv_3DQXOA9anJH96eO8t2ZzNsUYIAwoWDKsAcDBkSetocawhruPvhmKIFziT1jRJltIwbR0jT3Vqgu7v8w/s1600/DSCN7282.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEidzctszVaQ5V0AwJqNI-Ibi3f7_nDFNqWjyPW_0xNN8NLhQU9d14Aru7YDAAv_3DQXOA9anJH96eO8t2ZzNsUYIAwoWDKsAcDBkSetocawhruPvhmKIFziT1jRJltIwbR0jT3Vqgu7v8w/s1600/DSCN7282.JPG" width="480" /></a></div>Our wonderful DJ was Randy Bennett with <a href="http://bunndjcompany.com/" target="_blank">Joe Bunn DJ Company</a>. He is always at a site before me, all set up and waiting for me to plug my theater microphone into his system. He is also quite a sharp dresser. Randy has this collection of cuff links so I had to find out which ones he was wearing today and as you can see, they are the Batman ones!
